Leo was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. During his time there, he served as president of the Interact Club in his city, a youth organization affiliated with Rotary International. In July 1982, he moved to the United States.

In 1985, he met Alvina, who became his wife in 1989. Since settling in Reno, Leo has played a key role in planting three different churches.

He currently serves as the State Director for Hispanic Ministries with the Nevada Baptist Convention, working across the state to support Hispanic pastors and church planters.

Before entering full-time ministry, Leo spent 15 years in corporate America, building a career in logistics planning, manufacturing, and production in Silicon Valley. He eventually served as Director of Operations before transitioning out of the corporate sector in 2001.

Leo earned an A.A. in Theology and Counseling from Trinity College Ministries in San Jose, California, in 1992, where he was also ordained as a minister. He holds a master’s degree in counseling and theology and is currently pursuing a Doctorate at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Since May 2001, Leo has lived in South Reno with his wife, Alvina, and their two sons, Leonard and Jordan.

He is the founder and lead pastor of Eternity Christian Center and the author of the book Apokalypsis: The Best Is Yet to Come. Leo has been an avid motorcycle rider since the age of 15.
